Solid ink color printer uses blocks of colored wax. This wax then melted & sprayed onto paper. This wax is easy to be handled. The benefits from solid ink color printers are the price is competitive with laser printers with good quality & reliable with high volume printing. But the poor one is if you left the printed document with solid ink color printer in a place with high temperature it will melt enough to stick together or smudge.

Laser Color Printer is more expensive than Inkjet Color Printer for first time cost. But in continually the running cost is cheaper & the printer machine & toner is having longer lifetime than inkjet printers. Solid Ink Color Printer gives the cheaper operational cost but the quality of printing is not as good as inkjet & the speed is not as fast as laser printers. All of the type has its pros & cons.
